Great History of Our Campus
Established since 2008
University College of Engineering, Villupuram was established in the year 2008 as a
Constituent College of Anna University Chennai initiative to expand access to quality
engineering education in Tamil Nadu.
From its humble beginnings with five undergraduate engineering programs, the
institution has grown remarkably over the years by introducing new specializations such as
CSE (Cyber Security) and CSE (AI&ML), strengthening infrastructure and promoting
innovation-oriented education.
