OPRUSS introduces its most advanced glass-electrode pH sensor with a digital output.
The pH measurement system works based on the potential difference between a reference electrode inside the glass and a reference that comes into contact with the solution outside of the glass. pH is the millivolt differential in the system. On the inside of the glass electrode, ions swap because the two solutions on the opposite sides of the glass have different acidity levels, which causes different ions to swap. This variation in hydrogen-ion activity on the two glass surfaces results in a difference in the amount of electrical charge that accumulates on them. The charge difference causes a voltage difference, which can be measured on a meter. OPRUSS enhances this technology through the careful selection and precise manufacturing of materials for a highly accurate pH-measuring sensor. Additionally, it features an automatic diagnosis function for detecting defects in electrode quality and displaying any errors on the unit. The temperature compensation feature aids in obtaining accurate measurements.
