- OPM Ammoniacal Nitrogen
Ammoniacal nitrogen is a gas that easily dissolves in water, making it hard to measure. It is a naturally occurring toxic element that is harmful to all living things and can also be very corrosive. The amount of ammoniacal nitrogen depends heavily on the pH level of the water. In acidic conditions, most of the ammoniacal nitrogen forms ions that the sensor cannot detect. The OPM Ammoniacal Nitrogen sensor is specially designed to accurately measure the amount of ammoniacal nitrogen in samples. Additionally, the smart controller makes the sensor even more efficient.

Ammoniacal nitrogen sensors measure both ammonia (NH₃) and ammonium (NH₄⁺) in water. This is important for understanding the nitrogen levels in water systems and assessing water quality. These sensors can detect a wide range of concentrations, from very low levels in natural water sources to high levels in industrial or wastewater environments.
